The company has developed specific skills to reduce maintenance costs on gas and steam turbines. This includes the transient modelling of the system using the QTurbine software that includes a complete control schedule for the system. Combined with advanced CFD methods this can be used to predict the thermal loading and resulting thermal stresses in the hot end components and the simulation of the effect of operating conditions on expected usable life of components.

Detailed analysis include the effect of blocked atomisers, resulting in skewed fuel distribution, and the effect on the liner temperature of the combustor.
